Just after one look at this extremely talented artist’s work and you will recognize a true master, diligent in his craft. Hungarian artist Farkas Ekho Zsolt shares this month some details on the making of his latest mind-blowing project: Nanjin Road 20-509, a cyberpunk environment.
“After 150 hours, 13.000.000 polygons and countless coffees”, he created this mind-blowing piece of art. Go behind the scenes and see how LightWave 3D enabled him to create this incredible project.
“As a professional artist, there is always motivation to create something new, something different than before”. To that end, LightWave is ideal for Farkas’ artist palette. “What I love about LightWave is that I can use it for everything, from a small illustration to a highly detailed project, like this project,” says Farkas.
While there are a number of LightWave tools and features that have influenced his work, one that comes quickly to mind is the Instance-generating engine. “It’s so easy to use, and I can do a lot of things with it that used to be such a pain,” he adds. In fact, Instancing is one of the LightWave features he would miss most, along with Bullet.
