Artist Spotlight: David Alexander Ary Agüero
While Argentine 3D Artist David Alexander Ary Agüero has always been interested in art and sculpting, when it comes to 3D modeling and animation, his interest rises to the level of a passion. With great attention to detail in creating stunning imaginary landscapes and characters, this extremely talented and well-known 3D artist relies on LightWave to deliver incredible results. If you do not know him yet, after one look at his portfolio we’re sure you’ll see why we have chosen him as our first LightWave Power Artist for 2016!
LightWave 3D & CSI
From modeling to animation, LightWave gives San Diego's investigators all the tools they need to create recontructions of real events and crime scenes, giving them the opportunity to better understand the dynamics of a car accident, a crime scene or the path of a bullet. The investigators are using LightWave 3D regularly to provide judges and juries some in depth look at the scenes. Take a look at this great video from the local San Diego breaking news, CBS News 8.

Bruce Branit, the Viral Videos Master
Bruce Branit has been interviewed early this month by the american TV Channel 41 Action News about his viral videos & upcoming projects including 1st footage of BULLY MECH! Much of Branit’s work relies upon solid 3D tracking to match visual effects elements with live action back plates. “LightWave 3D lets me produce films and Web serials that use visual effects in a way that’s unexpected for a micro-budget project. "Tom Little and the Magic Mirror" nominated for the Goya Awards
Widely recognized as a hugely successful animated movie, the talented team at Ficción Producciones saw his first 3D film of Cuban origin Tom Little (Meñique) nominated Best Animation Film for the Goya Awards 2016, the Spain's main national annual film awards. Fuzzy Frog strikes back!
UK-based Fuzzy Frog has released the trailer of their latest game Hugo Troll Race 2, which was created with LightWave 3D and Unity. Fuzzy Frog is not new to creating unique games, one of its most notable being Real Scary Spiders (created in conjunction with Animal Planet and Toys-R-Us), the team also received the Best Animation and Gaming Project award at the 2014 Digital Entrepreneur Awards.
